Privacy notice

Numbers + Guts website · Last updated: 25 October 2026

This notice explains how we use personal information when you visit numbersandguts.com or email us. Our private client area at clients.numbersandguts.com has its own notice, available on its sign-in page.

1. Who we are

Numbers + Guts is a trading name of Art On Demand Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12892797. Registered office: 70 Grange Road East, Birkenhead, Wirral, CH41 5FE, United Kingdom.

Art On Demand Ltd is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. For any privacy question, request or complaint, contact Alessio Granata at hello@numbersandguts.com, or write to Alessio Granata, Art On Demand Ltd, at the address above.

2. What information we use

When you visit our website. Our website is hosted by Framer. To deliver the pages to you and keep the website secure, Framer’s servers process technical information that your browser sends, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the date and time of the request. The website has no forms and no account sign-in.

When you email us. If you write to hello@numbersandguts.com, we receive your name and email address, the content of your message and anything you choose to attach or include, plus the usual email delivery information. Please do not send sensitive personal information or other people’s data unless it is needed for your enquiry.

We do not use this information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell it.

3. Why we use it and our lawful basis

  • Delivering the website, keeping it secure and counting visits: Legitimate interests in running a working, secure website, and in understanding in aggregate how it is used so we can improve it

  • Reading and replying to your email, and discussing a possible business relationship: Legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and developing business relationships

  • If you become a client: managing the engagement and keeping essential records: Legitimate interests, or contract where you personally are a party; legal obligation for accounting and tax records

  • Handling privacy requests and complaints: Legal obligation under UK data protection law

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we use only the information needed for that purpose and balance our interests against yours and against your reasonable expectations. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting us. We will not add you to a marketing mailing list because you emailed us.

4. Who we share it with

We use these service providers, who process information on our behalf:

  • Framer (Framer B.V., Netherlands): website hosting and delivery, and the visit statistics described in section 6. Framer uses cloud infrastructure that may process information outside the UK.

  • Google Workspace: our business email, including the hello@ mailbox. Google may process information in the United States and other locations listed in its terms.

We may also share information with professional advisers, or where the law requires it or it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers process information outside the UK. Transfers to the European Economic Area are covered by UK adequacy regulations. Where information goes to the United States or other countries, we rely on UK adequacy regulations where they apply (for example, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified organisations) or on standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum in our providers’ terms. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website does not set cookies and does not use advertising tools or cross-site tracking. We use Framer Analytics, the statistics service of our website host, to count visits and see, in aggregate, which pages are read, referring sites, country, device and browser type, language and page speed. Framer states that it does not use cookies or create a persistent identifier, and that it combines your IP address and browser details into a code that changes every day. We only see totals. You can turn analytics off on this device with the switch at the end of this notice; we then remember your choice in your browser’s local storage. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics is off automatically. Fonts are delivered from our website host, not from a separate font service. If we change any of this, we will update this notice first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

7. How long we keep it

  • Emails and enquiries that do not lead to work: twelve months after our last meaningful contact, then deleted or anonymised, unless there is a genuine continuing discussion or another documented reason.

  • If you become a client: the client-area notice and our engagement terms apply. A limited essential record of an engagement is kept for six years after it ends, and accounting records for the period required by law.

  • Privacy requests and complaints: three years after the case is closed, with an annual review.

  • Website technical logs and visit statistics: kept by Framer according to its service arrangements; the statistics we can see are in aggregate form only.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to give you access to your personal information, correct it, erase it, restrict how we use it, or transfer it. You can also object to how we use it. Some rights have conditions and exceptions.

Contact us using section 1. We aim to acknowledge your request within five working days. We respond without undue delay and normally within one month. In some cases the law allows up to two further months, and if so we will tell you why within the first month. We only ask for proof of identity where it is genuinely needed.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please tell us first using the details in section 1. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it and let you know the outcome without undue delay.

You can also complain to the UK data protection regulator, the Information Commission (formerly the Information Commissioner’s Office): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

10. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our website or the way we use information changes, and show the date of the latest version at the top.
